Our Aviation Club was establihed in 1986 and is proudly one of the first universty aviation club in Turkey.
In addition, it is the second club which was established in the body of the defartment of Health Culture and Sports in our universty.
Between the years 1986-1992, various activities such as ; sky diving, handgliding, gliding, amateur pilot trainings an baloon ; had beencarried out by the foundersof our club. Mustafa Çelik, Mustafa Çakmak, Nihat Ekinci and Rýdvan Tosun.

Since 1992 our club is still conducting activities with its executive board, Murat KALAYCIOGLU, Elif ÇALIDAG, Gökhan SAHIN, Esen AYDOGMUS, Emine YILDIRIM, Nazif AYGUL, Sevim ALTUNSOY, Hasan GUNHER and Özgür HAYATOGLU.

The activities mentioned above unfortunately cannot be carried out as frequently as they were in the past. In recent years all these activities are being supported much less by the Turkish Aeronautical Association, which we are bound to. Because of this, our search for new activities has been resoluted in 1995 by this indispensable branch of aviation, paragliding.

Moreover, together with the invaluable contributions of our academic consultant, the late Prof. Dr. Ata Aksoy, we have anhanced our branch of radio controlled planes.
Currently, the consultant of our Club is Doç. Dr. Atilla ATAÇ.
